The monthly fee of $16.95* includes intrusion and fire alarm monitoring for an existing residential alarm system. Simply put, we reprogram your system to send its alarm signals to our monitoring centre instead of your current provider.

Control panel reprogram
Our technician will come to your home and change the number of your alarm system in order to redirect your alarm signals to the GardaWorld monitoring centre.

System inspection
While our technician is at your home, they will inspect your alarm system to ensure everything is in working order.

Insurance certificate
We’ll provide you with a certificate that confirms your system is functioning properly. This document can be given to your insurer should they offer a reduction on your insurance premium.
FAQs
Our monitoring centre is approved by the United Laboratories of Canada (ULC), which is an independent product safety testing, certification and inspection organization. ULC only provides certification to companies that meet the highest standards in terms of alarm response time and false alarm reduction.
Yes, the price includes fire alarm monitoring, provided that you already have a fire alarm system in place, meaning a smoke detector that is connected to the monitoring centre.
The price includes monitoring of emergency panic buttons, trouble signals, and alarm signals for any other equipment you already have in your home (excluding home automation equipment). Emergency panic buttons: Some control panels include emergency panic buttons that you can manually press to notify the monitoring centre of a fire, police emergency, or health emergency. Trouble signals: Trouble signals occur due to issues that interfere with the proper functioning of the system, such as a low battery, a sabotage attempt, or a power outage. Other equipment: We will also monitor any other existing equipment you may have, such as water leak sensors, glass break sensors, and carbon monoxide detectors.
