Empathy, altruism and professionalism shown by our two colleagues as they performed their duties for GardaWorld

Sébastien Mailloux and Martin Guay, both installation technicians from our Quebec City office, were carrying out an installation in an apartment complex in Montreal. Suddenly, from the hallway, they heard someone falling in their apartment.

They realized it was a woman calling from a nearby apartment. While one of them encouraged her to try and open the door to her apartment, the other technician attempted to contact the property manager. Fortunately, the woman was finally able to reach and unlock her door. She was in distress from a bad fall. It appeared that she had a broken nose and other potential facial injuries. Mailloux and Guay assisted her until help arrived.

The rescued woman, and her family, expressed their gratitude to Mailloux, Guay and GardaWorld, in the following message we received from her daughter:

"These men are to be commended not only for their actions, but also for the manner in which they performed them. The gentleman who was on the phone with me stayed calm and reassured my mother the entire time. They really went above and beyond in an exemplary manner.

We, my mother and our family, are very grateful for these angels and what they did to help our family. We want to make sure that their managers know how wonderful they are and how lucky you are to have them as employees."

Sébastien and Martin, we are proud to have you as part of our GardaWorld team!
